November 20th, 2011

I'm on bedrest and one bored momma!  Let me explain why..
Yesterday I arrived at work and was getting slammed by the dreadful twilight fans (no offense to anyone loves twilight, but you try working at the movies when the movie comes out!) and within 30 minutes I started noticing some contractions. I continued working trying to count how far apart they were while still filling popcorn bags and soda cups, but eventually I had to go sit in the back and just breathe. They were now in my back and I could barely move - I knew deep down something wasn't right. My new General Manager came up and gained a lot of my respect showing concern and being actually quite knowledgeable of pregnancy. I felt like I wasn't just.. an associate, that he was actually concerned! I went upstairs to rest and see if they would continue and they did, so after two hours I call the on call doctor. He explains that the next 40 minutes are crutial and if things continue or get worse, than to head to the L&D. Things didn't really get better and my aunt advised me to go to the hospital, so I did.

Hospital was typical - hooked me up to the moniter and guess what, no contractions! They went away thank god and the babies heartbeat was strong. They did a test though called FFN to see if I would go into labor within the next two weeks and it came back positive. So I'm on strict bedrest! :( I'm only on 29 weeks so baby Charley coming right now, is something I'm trying to prevent! I need that baby cooking a little longer :)

One advantage of being on bedrest and having a blog is - guess what's going to be updated! This blog :)

So this is my babys room as of November 18th! It's coming along and I love it! So happy.

Done painting!

We finally finished after 3 coats of paint and a lot of time spent! Probably the best painting job my parents and I have ever done! I love the color :) Next project is sanding down that dresser and painting it dark and doing the same thing to the rocking chair! So exciting how everything's coming together.

Last night we picked up the mattress so today (hopefully) I get to set the crib up! Pictures later :)
